Pomona Chalk Art Festival 2012
Hey everyone!
I was at the Pomona Chalk Art Festival yesterday.
This was my very first chalk art competition that I have ever participated.... Actually, it was my very first Chalk art. PERIOD. I've never done any chalk art before, unless you count the tic tac toe boxes from kindergarten.
I made a Doctor Who Tribute piece. I only had 5 hours to work on it. I really did wish I had an extra hour.... and more blue chalk. haha
I got 2nd place (Honarable Mentions) in the professional division. I'm pretty proud of that. First time challenge and I get second place. Woo hoo!
Next year, I'm gonna amp it up and aim for the grand prize! Woooo!

Dracula wants to be a Super Model
Here is a doodle I did last night.
The idea was: What if Dracula wanted to be a Vogue model? And he wanted to take a picture of himself as if he was on the front cover of a magazine.
Everything is done in ball point pen.
Enjoy!

R.I.P. Tinker the Ferret
This is a simple drawing I made in remembrance of my ferret (he passed away this morning). This is based on a true event. I caught him trying to steal the Guitar Hero guitar controls... He was determined to drag that thing back to his secret hide out (under the dishwasher). Good times

Princess Critter-Pants
My doodle of the day!:
I was inspired by watching Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke and the brand new, Adventure Time DVD...
So, I had to create my very first "FAN ART" by creating the character, "Princess Critter-Pants"!!!
I am a huge fan of Adventure Time, and I love the works of Hayao Miyazaki! So, I wanted to see what I can create by merging the two worlds in one!
I hope you all like it! Enjoy!

The Drills CD Cover Competition
Here is my entry submission for The Drills CD Cover Competition! I thought I did well but I went against a bunch of AWESOME ARTISTS!!! So, I was sad that I wasn't chosen but not too upset. Instead, I was more thankful to see many different styles and skills for CD cover designs. I have 2 versions of the final art due to the band's leader, Phil X, making a request to revise the font of the cover. I've also included the rough for this cover. Please enjoy!

Bookmark commissions
Hello everyone!
Long time no see! I'm sorry for neglecting everyone on updates! It has been a rollercoaster of events in my life/career! But, I have been making art while I was gone!
I recently was asked to create 3 bookmark images for a Literacy program charity event at Michael G. Wickman Elementary School!
I was honored to be able to help out our future leaders of America!
The following bookmarks are named:
"Reading Powers Me!"
"Favorite Place"
"Epic Battle"
I have also created bookmark backs for children to be able to write their names on it!
